We've been the leading grower of fresh USA grown exotic mushrooms for over 25 years. The substantial amount of growing rooms that Smithy Mushrooms has is important in order to be able to supply the growing demand from consumers such as Tesco, Marks and Spencer, and Booths.
We do not only supply the Retailers with our mushrooms, we also provide our services to wholesale markets from London to Edinburgh, restaurants and hotels, farmers markets and local food shows, and direct to customers.
Orders placed by 1pm will be delivered the following day to ensure the consumer has a truly fresh product. Mushrooms are very popular and therefore we have advanced our growing techniques in order to be able to supply fresh exotic mushrooms all year round.
Grow Your Own Shiitake Mushrooms
Fancy yourself as an amateur mycologist? Then this might be the one for you! We have grow kits available for Pink, Grey and Yellow Oyster - as well as Shiitake. This kit includes everything you need to start your own mini mushroom farm, all you need to do is open the box, submerge in water and spray 3/4 times a day with water!
Dried Mushrooms Information
Dried mushrooms come in many varieties and include both wild and cultivated fungi, from Oysters and King Oysters, to Shiitakes and Ceps, to Morels and Girolles, and the list goes on. As a general rule, any species that is available fresh can be found in their dried form too.
